I am a seasoned therapist specializing in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-Informed EMDR, Brainspotting and attachment. I help adults heal from the wounds of trauma and grief. Additionally, I provide compassionate support to teens and college students navigating academic and personal challenges. Specifically, I love helping people learn ways to experience calm and relaxing moments, develop an understanding of feelings and why you do what you do, build a stronger sense of trust and connection to yourself and others, heal from painful past experiences including childhood trauma, grow in your ability to handle strong emotions, and expand your confidence, courage, and compassion to be your true self. Together, we'll create a collaborative, safe, and exploratory therapeutic space, utilizing an integrated approach that goes beyond talk therapy.
Originally, I studied Music and obtained an undergraduate degree from York College of PA in 2002. My journey in the mental health field began as a mobile therapist in Pennsylvania in 2003, where I provided individual and family therapy in the home, community, and provided school based therapeutic services. From there, I graduated from Millersville University in 2006 with a degree in School Psychology. After much internal debate, I transitioned from public education back to clinical work and obtained additional training in IFS, EMDR and Brainspotting. Ultimately, I learned to listen to my internal world with curiosity and discovered transformation, healing, and balance, within the journey itself.
